Photo Travel: Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu

This the photo library of our climb of Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu. After 5 days of trekking the Salkantay trail we arrived a the foot of Machu Picchu much unprepared for the physical effort and the immense beauty of the site that would reward our efforts. Perched on top of Huayna Picchu, it was difficult not to see the attraction of one of the most astonishing natural site in the world for the hoards of tourists who looked like little ants way, waaaaaaay down below.

These are all the photos of:

  • Machu Picchu and
  • Huayna Picchu

You can see photos of the Salkantay trek in a separate piece.

When I was six, my mother started sending me on errands around the corner to get a fresh baguette. I’d pile up on some candies with the change. Now the corner is a little further and the candies sweeter. My dentist is also a rich man.

The colors , the light so clear, the mountain and earth formations like pure spirit! And the two of you…just great…thank you very much for sharing.

    • Thank you very much Carola! The views from up Huayna Picchu were absolutely breathtaking. I must admit that for a moment, I thought perhaps I had vertigo…
