Bus From Punta Arenas to Ushuaia

Entering Tierras del Fuego when you are that far South already is only a bus ticket away. You can very easily travel from Punta Arenas in Chile to Ushuaia in Argentina by bus. You will hit the border crossings, both Chilean customs and Argentinan, so try not to shoot for a holiday when those get busy. Because of this, it quickly became one of our longest wait at the border in South America: it took two hours of sun basking before we could move forward. On a regular day, you can probably acquit yourself of both within an hour and arrive earlier in Argentinan Patagonia than we did. Luckily, we made friends on the bus that took us to the most famed waterholes in Ushuaia: the Irish Pub.

When I was six, my mother started sending me on errands around the corner to get a fresh baguette. I'd pile up on some candies with the change. Now the corner is a little further and the candies sweeter. My dentist is also a rich man.
